Bug Day!

I got a new stamp set and paper from Stampin' Up! I've been having lots of fun with it today. I've been wanting this set for a long time. I figured it is well worth the money, since I have two boys. And when you think of boys, bugs just seem to come along with the thought.

I can't take credit for the idea behind this card. I acutally got the idea off of the Stampin' Up! website. This card was one of the reasons that I bought the set and all the paper/ink that was used for it.

This one was fun to make. Don't have a specific event/purpose for this one yet. But, I'm sure it will be nice to have it on hand.

We made these candy cards at a Stampin' Up! stamp camp that I went to on Friday night. I thought it was such a cute idea.

It opens up one time to show the "Easter Wishes"

And then opens up another time to show the candy. Yum!

I didn't have the Easter set that we used at the stamp camp. But, I thought it would be fun to use my new Bugs & Kisses set. Just to put my own twist on it.

These are so easy to make. Not quite sure what I want to use them for--I've already made a few. I originally thought about making them for Aaron's co-workers, but then decided it was probably too "girly". I might just use them for visiting teaching.

Mom H's Birthday Card

I went to Micheal's the other day and they were totally clearing out all of their old paper. The new paper that they are bringing in is so cute. When I saw this paper, I just knew that it would make a great card for my mom's birthday. I, of course, used the cuttlebug and cricut machines.

Mom's B-day card

I made this card for my mother-in-law's birthday. I used the cuttle bug--my new favorite tool. The flowered paper I picked up at Michaels on clearance and just got some solid coordinating paper to go with it.

One More Valentine's Day Card

This one I made for my mother-in-law for Valentine's Day. It was also made with the Stampin' Up "Love you Much" stamp set and "Candy Lane" paper.

Love You Much

These two cards were made using the "Love You Much" bundle from Stampin' Up!

Friend to Friend with blue birds

This one was adapted from an idea that I got off of www.splitcoaststampers.com (which is my new favorite site, by the way). The woman who created thought the birds that were printed on the paper were too cute not to use for a simple card. I agree with her.

Hello there.

I've been making cards for awhile, but other than giving them away for whatever occasion the card calls for or submitting them to the swap that I am involved in they don't get shared much. I have friends and family members who have blogs specifically for sharing their cards or other projects they work on. But it wasn't until one of my friends asked me today if I was going to post the cards on my blog. I never thought about it before, but why not? So I've created this blog to share my cards with whomever may come across them.

So, I say, Hello there, and welcome to my blog. Please enjoy.
